In May 2025, Shandong Energy Group integrated the former Yanzhou Coal Donghua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and the former Shandong Energy Equipment Group to establish Shandong Energy Equipment Manufacturing Group. Relying on the advantages of Shandong Energy Group’s full industrial chain layout, the Group has built a powerful industrial matrix with global reach. Within Shandong Province, it operates six coordinated industrial parks in Luxi, Zoucheng, Tai’an, Laiwu, Xintai and Ningyang. Outside the province, it has established bases in Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia, with 14 wholly-owned and holding subsidiaries under its umbrella. The Group’s industrial scope covers the manufacturing, maintenance and remanufacturing of complete sets of coal mining equipment, new energy equipment, and environmental protection equipment, achieving diversified development of the equipment industry with strong development momentum. It owns one national-level engineering technology research center and four provincial-level enterprise technology centers, has obtained more than 400 patents of various types, and formulated over 20 national and industrial standards.
