The ZY2600/6.5/16D two-column shield-type thin coal seam hydraulic support was developed for geological conditions of coal seams less than 1 meter containing iron sulfide hard nodules in Yanzhou. Innovatively developed large telescopic ratio columns (double telescopic + mechanical extension section), front-end lifting technology and automatic bottom lifting device for the base, hinged connecting rod type bottom adjustment structure and hydraulic group quantitative pushing technology. This development successfully solved the worldwide challenge of mechanized mining of thin coal seams less than 1 meter containing iron sulfide hard nodules, setting a record of 620,000 tons annual production in a single thin coal seam face, obtaining 6 patents. The ZY16000/23/43D shield-type hydraulic support was developed for geological conditions of 3-4 meter coal seams in Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia. Applied to Zhulongwan Coal Mine's LASC inertial guidance technology automated face, achieving intelligent mining with annual production exceeding 10 million tons for a single face. This project won the First Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Coal Industry.
The ZY20000/33.5/68D hydraulic support was applied in Yingpanhao Coal Mine with optimized rib guard structure. Capable of meeting the annual production capacity requirement of 12 million tons per face.
The ZY21000/38/82D 8.2-meter ultra-large mining height two-column shield-type hydraulic support was applied in Jinjitban Coal Mine in January 2016. The face achieved a maximum daily production of 61,600 tons with an average daily production of 50,000 tons, with capacity for single face annual production of 15 million tons. Based on "GB 25974.1-2010 General Technical Requirements for Hydraulic Supports", the support was designed and manufactured in accordance with foreign related hydraulic support test standards and passed 50,000 durability tests.
This support was the world's first complete application of 8-meter ultra-large mining height hydraulic supports at the time. It operated continuously and efficiently underground in Jinjitban Coal Mine for more than 5 years, being the first ultra-large mining height hydraulic support to operate for five years without removal from the mine. Achieved 17 innovation results and won the First Prize of Science and Technology Award of China Coal Industry Association.
